Oasis Cultured & Solid Marble, Faux Granite, and Onyx Tops:
Use a mild, non-abrasive liquid detergent when cleaning Oasis Marble. Minor scratches or
cigarette burns may be removed by using 600 grit wet or dry sandpaper. The area should then
be rubbed and buffed with standard auto body rubbing compound.
Water temperature should not exceed 150 degrees.
Natural Stone Tops:
Sealing: Your Bertch Natural Stone Top surface has been presealed. Depending on the
amount of use, we encourage you to reseal the top every 1 or 2 years as a precaution against
stains, water damage or bacterial growth.
Everyday Cleaning:
Use a few drops of a mild liquid antibacterial dishwashing detergent or stone soap. Always
avoid cleaners with abrasives, ammonia, acid or other harsh chemicals (Windex, Ajax,
vinegar)as they may scratch or etch the granite and marble. Wipe acidic spills such as red
wine, lemon juice and tomato based sauces immediately and always clean oil based products
from the surface.
Soap "scum" can be removed using a non-abrasive, soap scum remover or stone cleaner.
Always remove excess water, which may cause spotting on the stone surface.
