POSTED on Wednesday, May 29, 2024 IN Company News
WATERLOO, IOWA: Woodworking Network has announced the honorees of its 40 Under 40 Class of 2024. This year marks the ninth annual awarding of the 40 Under 40, which celebrates the next generation of industry professionals who are making an impact on North American wood products manufacturing, design, sales, services and education.
Those selected have been recognized by their peers for their achievements and innovations in the categories of: productivity, profitability, social good, ingenuity, peer inspiration, product development, organizational leadership, or another area.
Among this year's honorees is Bertch's Senior Human Resource Manager, Ashley Stanley. Ashley's well-rounded knowledge of cabinet manufacturing processes, teambuilding, and ability to find creative solutions when challenges arise has helped continue to grow Bertch's team of expert cabinet makers and helped Bertch keep up with the continued growth and expansion. With Ashley's efforts, Bertch has seen great improvements in employee retention, high-quality new recruits, and increased employer brand awareness in our local communities in Iowa and North Carolina. Bertch's sister company Dura Supreme recently opened a 300,000 sq. ft. facility in North Carolina just a few months ago, and thanks to Ashley and her team, the operation is fully staffed with a highly talented crew that is well-trained and continuing to grow at a healthy and rapid pace.
Ashley has an incredible passion for her job and the people she works with, and is always motivated to make improvements.
2024 honorees will be recognized at the Leadership Reception, to be held on August 5th in Atlanta, the day prior to IWF (International Woodworking Fair). Honorees also will be featured in the FDMC/October Leadership issue.
The Wood Industry 40 Under 40 Class of 2024 is sponsored by PaintLine and Allmoxy.
